Desire

Rodney and Chris’ Thoughts
Desire. Have you ever had a desire to do something, to achieve something or challenge yourself where you’re committed to do everything it takes to achieve what you’re set out to?

Do you have a desire to complete a goal or a mission? What are the reasons for your desire, what makes you want to achieve what you’re striving for so much?

Desire is the drive, the purpose, the thing that takes you forward to progress and complete what you’re trying to.

It could be your wife, husband, partner, your kids, your parents, personal growth, to prove someone wrong, financial reasons or something else entirely – whatever it is, at some point we’ll all have a desire to do something.

We put in place plans and missions for things we want to achieve however if we don’t have desire, they mean nothing.

Your desire is your fuel that puts you into action, that keeps you moving forward, to stay determined to finish what you started and fulfill what you’re aiming for.

Quotes to Remember
“The starting point to all achievement is desire.” — Napolean Hill, American author.

“Human behaviour flows from three main sources: desire, emotion and knowledge.” Plato

What’s Happened?
Over the weekend, “The Boss” Amanda, raced in the Buffalo Stampede 100km in beautiful Bright Victoria. This is arguably one of the toughest 100km Ultras in Australia. Weather was perfect. It was a very competitive field. Pushing through a mentally and physically tough day, she finished 10th place female in under 14 ½ hrs. Only a few minutes behind 9th place. Amanda put in a huge amount of work and sacrificed a lot for this race. She certainly demonstrated Run Rocket Run’s standards by earning the result. For Tom.

What’s Upcoming?
