Rodney Cottam
Rodney served in the Australia Army as an elite soldier from 1999 – 2004, during which time he was involved in operations both in Australia and overseas. His military career was cut short after being involved in a serious accident, which left him with life changing injuries and medically discharged from the Army. After spending a number of years going through rehab, Rodney entered the financial services industry, working in funds management and then mortgage lending with one of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders, for over 20 years.
During both his military and corporate careers, Rodney has led high performing teams ranging from five to 20 individuals.
Rodney now competes in 100km and 100 mile ultra trail races around the world and serves as an Ambassador for Invictus Australia.
Rodney instils the habits and disciplines from his military career, to perform at a high level, through his corporate roles and into his ultra trail racing.
