24 Hour Challenge

Rodney and Chris’ Thoughts
This Wednesday Rodney and the team at Run Rocket Run will be running continuously for 24hrs. The mission is to complete as many laps of The Track (see attachment) within 24hrs. It’s not flat either, each 1.56km lap consists of 78m of elevation gain and loss.

Why are we doing this?

At Run Rocket Run, we believe personal growth comes from challenging yourself both physically and mentally.
Through these challenges, we build strength, resilience and an unstoppable mindset. Our boundaries are only limited by perception.

Wednesday 10 September is World Suicide Prevention Day, so we are raising money to support Invictus Australia and need your help. We lose more veterans to suicide than we do on the battlefield. Donate Here Now

We’re also excited to announce a partner for the challenge………… ButterBoy Cookies!

Come on day throughout the 24hrs to cheer us on and show your support. You never know, you might even grab a free cookie.

You can also follow along live on Instagram and LinkedIn, for updates.

Quotes to Remember
"The greatest tragedy is not death, but life without purpose.” – Rick Warren.

"The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." — John F. Kennedy

What’s Upcoming?
The 24-hour Run Challenge starts Wednesday 10 September.

Rodney is running a section of the Reef Beach and Dobroyd Head 1.56km (The Track) as many times as possible for 24 hours straight between 6:30am on Wednesday 10 September and 6:30am on Thursday 11 September.

To experience a picturesque part of Sydney’s Northern Beaches and to see Rodney run through pain, exhaustion, fatigue, sleep deprivation and triumph, before overlooking the stunning sunrise, join us for this monumental effort-based event.
