Adventure

Rodney and Chris’ Thoughts
Adventure. Are you adventurous, working towards an adventure, or looking to take on something you haven’t done before and take you out of your comfort zone?

Often, we go from the work week to the weekend, and the daily grind can feel monotonous and sometimes relentless. Which let’s face it, can become boring.

When we have a holiday planned, a goal or mission, or something to look forward to, or something that’s going to be exciting, it often gives us motivation and persistence to keep going.

An adventure doesn’t need to be an overseas holiday, an expensive trip or outing or an extreme, daring challenge, it can just be doing something new.

Walking a track in a National Park, undertaking a task or something that tests your skills, something that’s physical and requires effort or challenging your state of mind.

Too often we stick to what’s comfortable, go through the motions and don’t look at doing anything uncomfortable, but challenging yourself and doing it with friends or family, or even by yourself can be very rewarding.

Australia is a country that has great weather, an abundance of National Parks as well as beautiful beaches and parks. There are plenty of places to explore, enjoy and experience.

Don’t get stuck going through the motions, look for an adventure, choose something meaningful to you that you enjoy and you can look forward to and get after it.

The world is a big, with plenty of amazing places to experience. So get out there and choose your adventure.

Quotes to Remember
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” – Eleanor Roosevelt, American political figure.

“People do not decide to become extraordinary. They decide to accomplish extraordinary things.” – Sir Edmund Hillary, mountaineer and explorer.
