48 Hour Challenge

Rodney and Chris’ Thoughts
This Wednesday 15 April starting at 4:00pm, Rodney and the team at Run Rocket Run will be running a section of the Reef Beach and Dobroyd Head track at Balgowlah Heights (The Track) continuously for 48 hours.

The mission is to complete as many laps of The Track within 48 hours and it’s not flat, each 1.56km lap consists of 78m of elevation gain and loss.

The target is 200km, with 10,000m of elevation gain, more than climbing Mt Everest, to raise money for Invictus Australia to support our veteran community as well as launch the ZERO600 campaign to encourage all Australians to rise at 6:00am for six consecutive days from 1-6 June to get active.

Why are we doing this?

At Run Rocket Run, we believe personal growth comes from challenging yourself both physically and mentally.
Through these challenges, we build strength, resilience and an unstoppable mindset. Our boundaries are only limited by perception.

Every month in Australia, six veterans die by suicide. ZERO600 exists to change that statistic by funding Invictus Australia's national, sport-based programs that are proven to strengthen the mental and physical wellbeing of veterans and their families.

Join us throughout the 48 hours to cheer us on and show your support.

This year the event partner is Rate Money, a home for the self-employed, and Butter Boy will be returning to provide their delicious cookies to fuel us throughout the challenge.

You can also follow along live on Instagram and LinkedIn, for updates.
