Service. At Run Rocket Run we believe in the importance of service before self.

This is putting others first; it’s a mindset on what drives your thought process and where you get your reward from prioritising an objective or others over self-interest. 

This past weekend on ANZAC Day across Australia communities reflected and showed respect for the service men and women who put their country before themselves. 

Who do you serve and how do you serve others? Is it your family, friends, your local sports club or potentially people you don’t know?

Service doesn’t have to be a life changing sacrifice, it can be as simple as standing on public transport for someone else to take your seat, donating your time or money for a greater cause or doing everything you can to elevate someone else.

In corporate roles instead of focussing on your next promotion or bonus, focus on the betterment of others to grow, or how you can make those around you perform better.

This is service. This is selfless.

The more people do this, the better we will all be.
