Stories

Rodney and Chris’ Thoughts
Stories. We all have a story and a story to tell.
Some stories were written years ago, shaped by family, culture, struggle, triumph, heartbreak, and survival.
Some were written recently, a win to be proud of, a mistake still being replayed in your mind, a moment that shook you, or a moment that lifted you.

Some stories haven’t been written yet.

Your story isn’t fixed; it’s fluid and evolves every time you choose differently.
Your past chapters matter — not because they define you, but because they inform you. They carry lessons, scars, pride, and perspective. They remind you what you’ve survived, what you’ve built, and what you refuse to repeat.
Your stories aren’t the whole book, they’re just the opening chapters.

Every decision today becomes a sentence, every habit becomes a paragraph, and every act of courage becomes a plot twist.
The story you’re writing today is the one future-you will thank you for.

Stories aren’t necessarily clean, they can be messy, all over the place and emotional. Your story is human.
There will be chapters of doubt, of pressure, chapters where you question everything and chapters where you feel unstoppable.
Both the good and the bad belong, they shape your resilience, create your identity and all of the moments make your story worth telling.

Don’t run from your story, don’t hide from it, don’t apologise for it.
Your story is yours and it’s still being written.

Make your story count.

Quotes to Remember
“When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending.” – Brené Brown, American academic, author and podcaster.

“I used to think, 'How can I write my life story? I'm still living it.” – Frank Serpico, retired NYPD Detective.
